It all started with a dream; Ahmad Shamloo’s dream of having a free literary magazine. This dream was entrusted to Team Hook in 1402 with the efforts of Mr. Azad Andalibi to become a reality. The Baroo project, like a small seedling, was planted in the heart of the Internet soil and, with the watering of the love for literature, grew into a luxuriant tree. Today, Baroo, as a dynamic literary platform, allows lovers of Persian literature to get closer to the world of poetry and fiction.
Building a platform that could meet the diverse needs of literature lovers was a huge challenge. Our team (Hook) had to develop all the infrastructure from scratch, one by one, because none of this infrastructure was available on the web and no one had ever needed to develop it before.
Behind the scenes at Barrow, a world of ideas and innovations was taking shape. Every line of code, every design, was carefully and meticulously chosen to best convey the spirit of literature.
We wanted to create a format that could showcase the subtleties and complexities of the literary world. To achieve this goal, we had to build everything from scratch.
Every part of the barrow, from the font design to the choice of colors, was carefully and meticulously chosen to create a sense of calm and concentration for the reader. We wanted to create an atmosphere where the reader could immerse themselves in the world of poetry and literature without any distractions.
The result of these efforts was the creation of a unique and beautiful format that quickly became one of the most popular literary websites in Iran. Baru was not just a website, but a cultural movement that contributed greatly to the development of Iranian literature.
